Homemade Iced Coffee

If you have been reading my blog or if you know me you know I love coffee. How did I ever live without the stuff?

Bit of a different post for me but I have snapped a few times of my homemade Iced coffee and have had a good few questions on my recipe.

This is such a refreshing drink in warm weather. I live in Ireland and we had a good week there of hot weather and it has been raining since. I love the stuff. If you are addicted to coffee like myself and find it too warm in the hot weather then you will love this. Or if you love iced coffee at any time you will love this too.

Things you will need.
1. Chilled coffee.  (instant or filter)
2. Milk of your choice
3. Vanilla Extract/essence to sweeten.
4. Ice (lots)

Make your coffee the usual way and cover it and chill for at least 5 hours. (my fav coffee at the mo apart from my local coffee place Cafe Banba in Carndonagh, is the Nescafe Gold Crema)

I make it just before bed. In the morning I simply add a teaspoon and a half of vanilla extract and a heap of ice, the coffee and my milk. Iced coffee for me needs more Milk than my usual hot coffee. Fill the glass just more than half way with the Coffee and add Milk to the rest.

I have tried this with Almond milk and Vanilla Soya milk and my favorite yet is Vanilla extract and regular low fat milk.

Enjoy and let me know in the comments below if you tried it and if you liked it.
